From Vision to Impact: The PATH We Lead

As Co-Founders and Directors of P.A.T.H. (Promoting Arts, Teamwork, and Hope), we are united by a guiding belief: every individual and every community holds the power to thrive when given the right opportunities, support, and foundation.

PATH is a mission-driven nonprofit committed to advancing education, leadership, infrastructure, and community development, both locally and globally. From under-resourced regions in New York to resilient communities like Crawfish Rock, Honduras, we walk alongside those we serve, building together.

With decades of combined experience in education, international development, engineering and infrastructure design, and community partnership, we lead with integrity, humility, and a deep commitment to sustainable transformation.

Our work is not about quick solutions. It’s about co-creating lasting opportunities for learning, building, leading, and most importantly, for hope.

What We Value

  • We believe that lasting change begins within. Through reflection, mindfulness, creative expression, and leadership development, we empower individuals, especially youth, to discover their voice, explore their identity, and build the confidence to lead with purpose. This inner growth becomes the foundation for all that follows.

  • Our programs are built with communities, not for them. We walk alongside local leaders, families, educators, and youth to co-create initiatives that reflect their strengths, needs, and visions for the future. From reef protection and wellness workshops to youth mentorship and storytelling, every effort is rooted in respect, trust, and shared responsibility.

  • We integrate evidence-based approaches and culturally responsive practices into everything we do. Whether it's teaching literacy, designing youth programs, or supporting infrastructure projects, we draw on global research, local wisdom, and professional expertise to create adaptable models that can grow and sustain themselves long after we're gone.

  • To empower communities through education, leadership, arts, and collaborative development—locally and globally—by cultivating opportunity, dignity, and long-term impact.

  • A world where every community has the foundation, tools, and voice to build a future rooted in hope, equity, and shared humanity.

Our Vision for Crawfish Rock

A Community Center for Original Caribbean Fishing Community

A Community Hub for Leadership, Learning, and Local Empowerment

We are working toward establishing a community center in Crawfish Rock that will serve as a vibrant space for youth development, environmental education, and creative expression. In partnership with Bay Island Conservation Association (BICA), Islanders for Change, and the P.A.T.H. (Promoting Arts, Teamwork, & Hope) Youth Leadership Team, this center will offer a dynamic blend of programs that nurture the mind, heart, and community spirit.

At the heart of this initiative is the belief that true transformation happens when young people are given the tools to lead, the freedom to express themselves, and the guidance to care for their environment. Through hands-on tools to lead, the freedom to express themselves, and the guidance to care for their environment. Through hands-on leadership workshops, arts-based learning, and marine and climate education, the center will connect local knowledge with global mentorship—fostering self-confidence, civic engagement, and sustainable practices.

The P.A.T.H. Initiative infuses every program with creativity—using art, music, storytelling, and teamwork to promote healing, identity, and connection. This center will be more than a building; it will be a launchpad for change makers, grounded in culture and fueled by hope.
