Where Others See Limits,

We See Potential.

Hilltop Communities was born from over 30 years of creating spaces for growth, especially for those who learn and lead differently. This journey is built on trust, transformation, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves a chance to be seen

During her early years in public education, Dr. Roseanne Esposito created The Gallery—a classroom model grounded in inclusivity, creativity, and the power of differentiated instruction. Long before inclusive education was a buzzword, she was already building spaces where learners who were often overlooked—nonverbal, dyslexic, or simply misunderstood—were given room to grow.

Rooted in evidence-based practices like Orton-Gillingham, social-emotional learning, and collaborative co-teaching, The Gallery became more than a classroom—it became a philosophy. A blueprint for what's possible when we stop forcing kids to fit the system and start building systems that fit them.

Now, Hilltop Communities carries that philosophy into new spaces—from U.S. schools to rural villages in Honduras.

Where others saw limits, we built windows. And now we build bridges.

The Gallery: A Vision Rooted in Inclusion, Growing Across Borders

Originally created as a framework for inclusive classrooms, “The Gallery” has become a guiding vision for how we teach, lead, and transform, together. We’re now growing this model into a multi-platform experience designed to elevate literacy, expression, and opportunity across communities.

My Why

“Most people my age are thinking about retirement. For me, this chapter is a calling-one I can't ignore. Hilltop Communities was born from decades of witnessing transformation: children who couldn't yet read, speak, or express themselves suddenly thriving in the right environment. I do this work because I’ve seen what’s possible when someone believes in you.

My life changed when I was entrusted with a group of nonverbal students, children many had already given up on. I changed the platform of instruction to meet them, and in doing so, they changed me. I am who I am today because of them and now, I pay that forward every day.”
