Local Roots. Global Vision

Partnerships That Empower Communities

At Hilltop and PATH, partnerships begin with listening, humility, and shared purpose. Whether supporting leaders in Crawfish Rock, partnering with marine preservation groups or collaborating with organizations in the U.S., our commitment is rooted in trust and built for long-term impact.

  • BICA

Working with the Bay Islands Conservation association and local leaders to support the design and future construction of a space built by, for, and with the community.

  • P.A.T.H. Sponsorships & Mentorship

Ongoing support for education, empowerment, and growth, because leadership doesn't end with a workshop, it starts with investment in a young person’s future.

  • Youth Soccer Tournament

Sponsoring a community-wide event to foster leadership, unity, and joy through sports—bringing the village together, one match at a time.

  • School Wi-Fi + Tech Access

Partnered with the community to connect the school to Wi-Fi, enabling global Zoom sessions and expanding educational access far beyond the classroom walls.

Crawfish Rock is a small, coastal village of about 600 residents on Roatán Island, Honduras. Known for its fishing roots and rich cultural heritage, the community is made up of Black English-speaking islanders who hold deep ties to the land and sea.

Bordering the Bay Islands National Marine Park and nestled beside protected mangroves, Crawfish Rock is surrounded by natural beauty—but faces ongoing challenges with access to electricity, clean water, sanitation, and community infrastructure.

This is where PATH walks in partnership—with the people, not for them—to support programs and a shared vision for sustainable growth.

The Vision

There is no clinic.
No playground.
No gathering space.

And yet, learning, laughter, and leadership take root.

From yoga and early literacy on gravel, to heartbeat lessons from a visiting nursing student, to leadership circles held under the treesevery initiative continues without walls, without shelter, without pause.

This is the strength of Crawfish Rock.

With the trusted leadership of BICA and the guidance of local community members, the vision for a community center is taking shape.
Our team, including Rick, who brings deep experience in ecological design, is proud to support this effort alongside BICA and other partners.

Together, we are working toward a sustainable space where youth can learn, families can gather, and health and hope have a home.
